Cape Cod Commercial Hook Fishermen's Association

CEO John Pappalardo is Chairman of the New England Fisheries Management Council (link). The CCHFA is a member of the Herring Alliance (link) and also administers the Cape Cod Fisheries Trust, one of the ENGO financed case studies in the Packard supported report Financing Fisheries Change (link) by Manta Consulting. For another perspective on the concept of outside financing/control of fishing busuinesses, see Is this the future of fishing? here.

Earthjustice (link) attorneys  filed a motion (link) to allow the CCCHFA to join the lawsuit — filed by the cities of Gloucester and New Bedford and a wide array of fishing interests — as a co-defendant with the federal government and the Conservation Law Foundation (link).
